What are you lighting your pictures with? That's the part I have trouble with. (I also probably need a camera that zooms in more than mine does, but I'm ignoring that aspect of it for now.) Your pictures look good. Jewelry is really hard to photograph well.

I use a homemade light box (translucent plastic storage box and a couple of cheap gooseneck lamps with daylight spectrum compact fluorescent bulbs). Whole setup from target < $20.00. You can buy light tents online but I'm cheap so I did it myself.
